Mobile Marketing Magazine recently reported on the Mobile Marketing Associations (MMA) new educational initiative to help retailers, agencies and brands understand, and get the most out of mobile marketing.
The MMA are tying this to an adopt a brand scheme allowing vendors to pay for the attendance of a chosen brand at an MMA forum on the 8th and 9th of June.

MMA have bought the Brazilian mobile marketing association Mobile Marketing Magazine reports.
They claim their motivation for this purchase was the massive potential and proven mobile marketing activity in Brazil. Great read for anyone marketing or considering marketing through mobile technology in Brazil.

MMA announces Certificate for Mobile Marketing

It is now possible to become a certified Mobile Marketers under the MMA programme. The new initiative will produce skilled and informed participants capable of building and executing effective mobile marketing strategies for any industry.
The course is called "MMA track" and features topics including industry regulations (PPP), best practises and managing budgets for mobile marketing campaigns.
"This programme benefits the entire mobile marketing ecosystem by ensuring the highest industry standards," Mike Wehrs, president of MMA. The course will award participants with a seal of approval recognised by the entire industry.
MMA will be publishing the results of this initiative and any additional industry research.
