Nice coverage of the counter suit of Nokia versus Apple from Mobile Marketing Magazine.
Nokia has apparently infringed on 13 of Apple’s patents and are described as “stealing” their inventions. Great read for anyone following the battles of the giants.

Apple has responded to Nokia’s legal action against the company by filing a countersuit claiming that Nokia is infringing 13 of Apple’s own patents.
“Other companies must compete with us by inventing their own technologies, not just by stealing ours,” says Bruce Sewell, Apple’s General Counsel and Senior Vice President.
Nokia filed its suit against Apple in October, alleging that Apple’s iPhone infringes Nokia patents for GSM, UMTS and wireless LAN (WLAN) standards. The 10 patents in suit relate to technologies fundamental to making devices which are compatible with one or more of the GSM, UMTS (3G WCDMA) and wireless LAN standards. The patents cover wireless data, speech coding, security and encryption and according to Nokia, are infringed by all Apple iPhone models shipped since the iPhone was introduced in 2007.
Looks like these two won’t be topping each other Christmas card lists this year.
